It was created to promote and regulate the practice and preservation of traditional healing methods in Thailand. The Council is composed of experts in traditional medicine and works closely with government agencies to establish standards and guidelines for the practice of this healing modality. The aim is to preserve and promote the knowledge and application of traditional Thai medicine.
